FAQ

Common Questions

How far in advance do I need to book?

Same-day appointments are often available. For the best availability, booking 24–48 hours in advance is recommended. Evening and weekend slots fill quickly so book early if you need a specific time.

Is there a travel fee?

Travel fees may apply depending on your location. All fees are confirmed at the time of booking — no surprises. Richmond metro appointments typically have minimal or no travel fees.

Can you come to a hospital or nursing home?

Yes — bedside notarization is one of our specialties. We work with hospitals, nursing facilities, hospice providers, and care homes across the Richmond area. Time-sensitive requests are given priority.

What if I need a witness?

Some documents require one or two witnesses in addition to the notary. It is the signer's responsibility to arrange witnesses. Let us know at booking if you need guidance on witness requirements for your document type.

Can you notarize documents in a language other than English?

We can notarize documents in any language as long as the signer understands what they are signing. leumaS does not provide translation services — if your document requires translation, please arrange that before your appointment.
