DOCUMENTS WE NOTARIZE

Estate & Legacy Planning Documents

Designates a trusted person to make medical decisions on your behalf when you cannot.

Springing Power of Attorney

FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need witnesses for my will or POA in Virginia?

Virginia law requires two witnesses for a will in addition to notarization. POA requirements vary by document type. Your attorney will specify witness requirements — it is the signer's responsibility to arrange witnesses. leumaS can share general requirements but cannot provide legal guidance.

Can you come to a hospital or nursing home for estate document signings?

Yes — bedside estate document notarization is one of our specialties. We work with hospitals, nursing facilities, and hospice providers across the Richmond area. Time-sensitive situations are given priority.

Can estate documents be notarized via RON?

Yes — most estate planning documents including POA, advance directives, and trust certifications can be notarized via remote online notarization. Wills have specific witness requirements that must be met even in a RON session. Confirm requirements with your attorney before scheduling.

Do you work directly with estate planning attorneys?

Yes — leumaS works closely with estate planning and family law attorneys across Virginia. We coordinate client signings on your timeline, travel to your clients, and handle all notarization needs professionally. Contact us directly to discuss a referral or working relationship.
